Journey to self discovery #The end

Hello beautiful people. This is the last post on the series. #Journey to self discovery. While writing these posts, I have come to learn and discover a lot of things not just about myself but of others as well. Some of which I wasn’t exactly able to share for lack of adequate words to express myself.  Thank you for taking this journey with me. I hope you have learned a thing or two for yourself. Last week someone sent me a mail. Asking me to talk about what to do when you have to live in the shadows. Covered by someone else’s shine. When the only reason people know you is because of someone else. Otherwise, you’re invisible. To this person, I’ll say each star is unique in its own way. And each star is visible from the sky. At night, when you look up, the sky is lit with a million little stars. Sometimes a hundred. Without any out shining the other. So my darling, Be you. Weird as it might seem, you is the best that there can be. The moment you take your eyes off the other person and look inwards, you’ll start to realise the star within you. That being said, I’ll like to conclude this series with this;

The secret to personal change is not willpower. It’s not a pill. It’s not a resolution. It’s not some vow that you make. The secret to personal change is not something you do or say. The secret to personal change is something you know. You know the truth. When you change the way you think, it changes the way you feel. And when you change the way you feel, it changes the way you act.Behind every self-defeating act is a lie you believe. It may be a lie about yourself, your past or future, God, or others.Why do you do something that you know is bad for you? Because you think there’s some kind of payoff. That’s the lie! You can only change and fulfill God’s purpose for your life if you start with God’s truth. If you want to change the way you live, you have to start in your mind. You have to know and believe God’s truth.

P.S the entire post in itself is today’s moral lesson. Stay blessed.
